The Ewshot Village Show takes place every year on the second weekend in July. Saturday night is a Live Band, Disco and Dancing, Bar, Hot Food and a Raffle. On Sunday the villagers return at 2pm for the Dog Show, Produce Show, Fun & Games, Local Stalls and more Hot Food, Drinks and Ice-creams. A recent addition is a classic car show and very old traditions include egg throwing and a tug of war between the top and the bottom of the village.

The Show has been running since 1977 and is a nonprofit making organisation. It has an established Committee of 12 local resident’s, but with many volunteers who help over the weekend to put up marquees, manage stalls, man the bar, bake cakes and many other jobs to help the weekend go smoothly. It is a great way to celebrate living in Ewshot and for the whole family to have fun.
