As part of the annual Planned Maintenance programme there will be carriageway resurfacing works on Heath Lane,
Ewshot, from 100m east of The Hollow for 140m.
These works are programmed to start on Tuesday 6th February 2024 and are expected to take 9 days to complete, during which time the road will be closed to through vehicular traffic from approximately 07:00 – 19:00hrs. The road will be open outside of these hours.
The works will commence on Tuesday 6th February 2024 with 7 days of vegetation clearance and replacing kerbing on the north side of Heath Lane, followed by 2 days of carriageway resurfacing commencing on Wednesday 27th March 2024.

Whilst there is an allowance within the time periods shown above for delays, there may be times when works need to be postponed at very short notice; based on the latest weather forecasts, this can occur just prior to works commencing. Up to date information will be provided wherever possible, but sometimes last minute decisions can be difficult to relay to the travelling public in a timely manner. Where possible, any significant changes to the scheduled dates will be made clear on the yellow sign boards located at the works limits.
Information signs advising road users will be erected before the start of works.
